Alpa Pro mainly produces multilayer parquet. This parquet is composed of a wear layer and a core, glued to each other.
- Wear layer is made of 4mm thick solid oak to allow several sandings if necessary.
- The core of the parquet is made up of stacked layers of plywood.
This “sandwich” allows the parquet to counteract the effects of humidity on natural wood, allowing each board to expand and contract without altering the quality.
We only use enviroment-friendly natural and UV-oils in finishing layer. All wood materials used in the production of our parquet are conditioned within our factories to guarantee stability of the board construction.
Our finishing line is located in Aigle, Switzerland. Here we apply the final finish using our know-how in order to satisfy our customers.
Whether the boards are large, small, medium, custom-made, a wide variety of finishes is available to our private and professional clients – oiled, brushed, planed, etc
Our parquet can be used with underfloor heating. As the parquet board is made out of solid oak, different moisture variations can have an impact on it. Recomended average humidity is RH 40-60%, and drastic changes in temperature are to avoid ( average temperature 16-24 C )
Alpa Pro also produces:
- Small and medium size lackered oak boards for highly used surfaces.
